Two local charities partner in their quest to help save children’s lives
CHARLOTTE, NC – July 18, 2016 – Haven’s Foundation, a local non-profit founded by Brian and Janice Kiley in honor of their daughter Haven who passed away four years ago, will be presenting a donation check to the Charlotte Chapter of Wine to Water™. Mr. Kiley will present the funds on Monday, July 18th at 6:00 pm during an event hosted by Wine to Water at Corkbuzz Wine Bar in South Park.
“We are beyond blessed that Haven’s Foundation recognized the work we are doing around the world, and the direct impact it has on saving children’s lives.” says Ed Doughty, who heads the local Charlotte chapter of Wine to Water. “Every 90 seconds a child dies from a water related illness, and this gift will go a long way in helping to provide clean water to those children who need it most, this gift will literally save lives.”
This donation is made with the hope to inspire others to support the organizations that care for our children, for local residents to get involved with local non-profits, and to create awareness that local charities are deserving of support because of the great work they are doing locally and around the world to care for those who cannot care for themselves.
Haven's Foundation is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization founded to help children that are sick or in need and to support the families and facilities that care for them. Founded in 2016 by Brian and Janice Kiley, residents of Davidson, NC.
