Haven’s Foundation
Haven’s Foundation is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization founded to help children that are sick or in need and to support the families and facilities that care for them. Founded in 2016 by Brian and Janice Kiley, residents of Davidson, NC.
The Spokes Group
The Spokes Group is a local non- profit that has a mission to put children on bikes. It’s their vision that each and every child, regardless of background, should experience the freedom and independence that goes with owning your first bicycle. In 23 years, they have been able to distribute over 42,000 bikes.
The Spokes Group gives bikes to needy children at Christmas in partnership with The Salvation Army Christmas Bureau. They also have an incentive arm where a child can earn a bike for better behavior, grades or attendance. The incentive program is done in connection with local agencies Right Moves for Youth, as well as The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Charlotte, and Statesville, NC.
A $70 donation to The Spokes Group provides for a professionally assembled bike and helmet…. and a very happy youngster. 100% of each donation goes toward bikes and helmets.
